Synopsis
He shoved her against the wall. "You're leaving me for him? He's ten years younger than you are. How is that acceptable?"
Her eyes were red but she was smiling. "His sister is quite a bit younger than you. Are you not enjoying that?"
His jaw tightened. "You're not getting a divorce while I'm still breathing."
She had once said the very same thing. But she really was running out of time to keep that promise.
Ten thousand years, the rest of their lives — that was what she had meant. As it turned out, he had meant it too.
