Synopsis
Young as he was, Khalil took over as head of the Dickerman count family — a house built on the study and production of magical potions. His days were filled with research, all of it aimed at finding a cure for the illness spreading through his fiancée's territory. Not that the two of them were close. The engagement had been arranged by the previous heads as part of an agreement to find that cure. The cure still hadn't come. The disease was still spreading. So he pushed himself harder.
