Synopsis
My manager asked why I always carry two copies of the script.
"You might lose one," I told him.
He laughed it off as me being prepared. He didn't know the real reason.
One copy is for show — pulled out on set, passed around, marked up.
The other is for this:
[Drama can be absorbed.] [Do you want to absorb?]
I eat it. Every character, every line of dialogue, every image the writer buried in the pages — I take it all in and make it mine.
That part, I keep to myself.
