Synopsis
He wanted to be a hero. He just couldn't do it.
He got his shot — fighting alongside the hero, right there in the thick of it — but he wasn't good enough to keep up.
At the end, dying, he heard the hero say something.
—I'm going to start over.
He didn't get to ask what that meant. His eyes closed before he could.
He figured that was it. It wasn't.
