Synopsis
"How could you abandon me? This is unacceptable." At seven years old, Killian slips away from the celebration feast and finds a quail egg on the verge of breaking open. A quail? In a space meant for raptors? He decides to care for this fragile thing until it's strong enough to leave on its own. Except the creature never learns to take flight.
