Synopsis
Su Kuang begins as the naive chief disciple of the world's most celebrated constable and ends as something the world hasn't seen before. He drills swordsmanship while drinking in Yangzhou, tracks enemies through the desert, breaks and heals on the grasslands, goes undercover as a cult leader, trades words with a ship magnate on open water, and carves poetry into prison walls. Even when he's broken, he's laughing at the sky. His whole life has been spent chasing light in the dark — and becoming it.
