Synopsis
The Kingdom of Endalgia was wiped out by monsters pouring out of the Demon Forest. One alchemist, Mariela, managed to survive by using the Magic Circle of Suspended Animation — not entirely on purpose — and woke up roughly 200 years later. Every other alchemist was already long dead by then. Where the demons had torn through, a labyrinth formed. Around that labyrinth, a city grew out of whatever scraps were left of the old kingdom, existing mostly to keep watch over the Demon Forest.
