Synopsis
First serialised in newspapers in 1970, this short story was the last piece Jin Yong ever wrote. It follows the Yue Maiden, a figure from the reign of King Goujian of Yue (496–465 BCE), whose real name has been lost to history. She is known only as Yuenü — the Lady of Yue, or more commonly the Yue Maiden — a title given to her by the King of Yue himself, after she laid out her teachings on the art of the sword.
