Synopsis
Navier excelled as empress, but the Emperor craved a partner in his chambers, not in court. So he cast her aside and brought a girl from servitude into his bed instead. Navier could have lived with that—until the Emperor swore to give this girl her crown. After years of scheming and heartbreak, Navier made her choice: she would take the throne of a neighboring kingdom as its queen, and marry into a new life.
