Synopsis
There was an island called Lodoss. The people of the neighboring continent, Alecrast, believed the island to be cursed, though the inhabitants of Lodoss themselves gave little thought to such talk. At some point, a dwarf left the northernmost village on the island to go looking for a girl who had been taken years before. Not far away, in another village, the son of a disgraced knight was preparing to protect his village from a goblin attack, and elsewhere across the land, war was starting to take shape…
