Synopsis
A chef dies and wakes up in a parallel world that's almost identical to his own — almost. About eighty years back, a vegetarian uprising turned meat consumption into something genuinely dangerous. The fallout reshaped everything: vegetarian cuisine exploded into countless varieties, while meat-based cooking quietly disappeared. Most of the recipes went with it. Now the government wants to bring meat dishes back. The virus is gone, the ban is lifting, but the knowledge is mostly lost. Chef Ye Chui isn't missing any of it.
