Synopsis
Li Wei won the world's highest prize in theoretical physics at thirty-five and was found dead at home the day before the ceremony. His farewell letter said: physics is all I have, and when it ends, the darkness takes over. Years later, his former student Zhang Man found an old love letter from him tucked inside a textbook. She woke up the next day in her sixteen-year-old body. Li Wei, in a later interview: two things kept him alive — physics, and her. Physics gave him a way to think through the dark. She gave him the light.
