Synopsis
Sang Wan was given no good options. With her family in financial ruin, she married into the wealthiest house in Qingzhou as a wife nobody wanted — a mother-in-law who doubted her, a husband whose childhood sweetheart still occupied the space Sang Wan could never fill, sisters-in-law who found ways to make every day smaller. She endured, withdrew, fell behind, and died. Now she wakes up on the sedan chair, at the very beginning — and the question she was never able to ask before is finally available to her: how do you play a hand differently when you know…
