Synopsis
Bernard of House Taylor brought a commoner woman into his estate, dressed her in Evelyn's gowns, wore her jewelry, and announced in front of Evelyn that this woman would eventually displace her. The child was his. Evelyn listened, played the gracious and understanding fiancee, and then began very carefully, very quietly, laying the groundwork to ruin them both. A revenge fantasy about a woman from one of the eight great ducal houses who refuses to lose with dignity.
