Synopsis
She woke up inside an apocalyptic game she'd never played, stuck in the body of a protagonist driven half-mad by repeated regressions — worn down to nothing. She needs his abilities to reach the ending and get home. Using them drains what little stability he has left. He starts clinging. She tells herself it's just strategy. She's taking care of him because she has to. He believes her less each day. "Don't leave me behind. I'll do better." She doesn't want to be leaving.
