Synopsis
'This little thing is so adorable I could just punt him into the sky.' Bai Yao owns a seafood restaurant in a small seaside town. One day he comes across a tiny sentient sea otter getting picked on. Feeling bad for the little guy, he steps in to help. The sea otter responds by showing teeth, all defensive and growling, wounds still fresh and unhealed. His version of a thank you is handing over an oyster from his pocket — one that had clearly been in there for a very long time. Bai Yao ends up taking the tired, beat-up…
