Synopsis
A mecha otaku dies and gets reincarnated into another world, coming back as a boy named Ernesti Echevalier — Eru for short. This world has giant humanoid weapons called Silhouette Knights walking around in it, and naturally, Eru wants nothing more than to get inside one and pilot it. Together with his childhood friends Archid Walter and Adeltrud Walter, he sets out toward that goal — becoming a Knight Runner, which is what they call the pilots of Silhouette Knights.
