Synopsis
A low-ranking hunter died young. Over the next forty-nine years, he worked his way through the underworld bureaucracy as its youngest grim reaper — until, at the end of it, he inherited the throne of Yeomra, King of the Underworld. What he found when he arrived wasn't a stable institution. The underworld was in disarray, inside and out. The story of a fledgling king and the misfit reapers who gathered around him, and the slow, unlikely work of putting things right.
