Synopsis
Prince Xiao Shan's highest ambition in life was to do absolutely nothing. His emperor father found his very existence irritating. As punishment disguised as a gift, he was given Xie Zhui as a spouse — a ger who joined the army at fourteen under a male identity, defended the northern border at sixteen, and was discovered at eighteen after serious injuries forced the truth. Everyone assumed this was one more way the emperor was tormenting Xiao Shan. Xiao Shan was not as unhappy about it as people expected.
