Synopsis
Eugene Lamert has no family, no name to inherit — just the walls of St. Marco's Brotherhood and whatever the sword can teach a boy with nothing. He grows up there, earns his place, becomes someone worth respecting.
Then his master goes missing in the war, and Eugene goes in after him.
What follows pulls him deeper into the chaos of the era than he ever planned to go. He has no backing, no connections — just his blade and the discipline behind it. He works with what he has, step by step, and cuts his own path through it.
