Synopsis
In the race-war PvP game 《Dusk》, there's a quirk to the cross-faction chat system: you can only read the enemy's messages after you've already died. Kill someone from the opposing race, and you get a one-sided window into what they're saying. Go Yeong, a high-ranking player from the Via faction, runs into a clueless Jeopa newbie hovering near the entrance of a Via dungeon. One clean hit. Gone. Then he helpfully points them toward where they actually needed to go. Standard stuff — veteran takes pity on a lost newbie, kills them, does them a favor. Nothing unusual. Except that…
