Synopsis
Zeke spent years serving the Royal Court faithfully — caring for livestock, tending the knights' dragons, keeping the kingdom's magic beasts in line. Then one day, they let him go. "Anyone can handle beasts. You're not worth what we're paying." He gave them fair warning: without him, the livestock would start dying, the dragons and magic beasts he managed would turn dangerous, and the kingdom would have a serious problem on its hands. They called him a liar. Then they called him a traitor. Then they exiled him. Shortly after, Zeke crosses paths with a puppy he had helped once…
