Synopsis
During the late 1600s, slave raids wiped out the Mahi, a small African people. Two young hunters from the tribe, Demba and Kanga, stood out for their particular talents—and were transported to the Netherlands, then sold onward to a Kapitan who carried them to Japan. Once in Edo, Mito Mitsukuni took notice. He arranged passage for them to his domain in Mito. But Mitsukuni had his own agenda.
