Synopsis
In the kingdom of Tilie, Fiene was the only one in her earl family born without magical power. Looked down on by everyone, put to work assisting her father. When her health finally collapsed, she had six months left to live. Her family was also drowning in debt. Her eldest sister refused the arranged engagement to a wealthy eccentric magician in the remote borderlands — so they sent Fiene instead, figuring she'd die anyway. She arrived expecting cold indifference. She found a kind person. And then, quietly and unexpectedly, something like happiness.
