Synopsis
Hikaru Tendou was barely past twenty when his body finally gave out. A fire took his parents when he was five, and the years after that were spent growing up inside a care facility, with nobody waiting for him on the outside.
He left at eighteen and went straight into factory work under a subcontractor — the kind of place that grinds people down quietly. Two years in, his health broke. He ended up in a hospital bed.
Now, in a room with no visitors, he was running out of time.
